First Christian Church recognizes that music is a powerful means of expression in our culture and that it has been used in worship for thousands of years. It is the goal of the Music Ministry to seek God, to join Him where He is already working, and to provide people opportunities of meaningful service and rich worship.

Our worship service is a blend of traditional and contemporary elements. We recognize that music is cross-generational and different styles reach different people. We strive to keep substance above style because changed lives are what we strive for.

There are many opportunities to participate in music at FCC. Here is a list and description of our current ministries:

Adult Choir:

Open to all adult participants who have a desire to sing in a large ensemble. Adult Choir is broken up into 2 seasons (Fall and Spring) and meets as a regular part of our Wednesday Night program at 7:00 in the Main Auditorium. No audition is required.

Children's Choir:

Our kids have a special, high energy, worship time at the beginning of Overcomers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights. We often practice special music to be performed as part of the morning worship service.

Adult Worship Arts:

Opportunities are available to serve with our adult worship teams. Instruments include: guitar, keyboard, piano, bass, drums, and vocals.

High School Worship Arts:

Our High School worship team assists in leading the worship service during our Wednesday night Youth Group time. Instruments include: guitar – rhythm, electric, and lead, keyboard, bass, drums, and vocals.
